The presentation offers an overview of the Essentials Records Guide produced by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Topics discussed will include essential records program objectives and related records, terminology, information regarding disaster response and recovery, and disposition documentation requirements for public records.

Stephanie began her work at the Department of State in 2019 and became lead of the Records Management Training Program in 2021. She provides technical assistance to agencies all over the state about records management rules and requirements. She’s a Tallahassee-born FSU graduate with three cats, loves public service and is genuinely excited to talk about all things concerning public records and their care in Florida.
